The word for this week is 'PRESSURE'. Have you felt it lately? Are you under it now? The word of God reveals that 'pressure' is not some new experience reserved for those in the fast paced culture of the 21st century. People have felt 'pressure' throughout history from many sources. God's people feel 'pressure' from peers, parents and the powers that be as they live IN the world refusing to live AS the world lives. Jesus felt 'pressure' while He walked upon this earth. The word this week is 'FINISH'. It is the theme for Falls Creek, 2018. 'Finish' is an important word; one that every believer should embrace with heartfelt conviction. 'Finish' lends the idea of completing what was started. That's important because the prize comes at the 'finish', not at the start and not half way through the race. Paul used this word in 2 Timothy 4:7 when he said under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, "I have fought the good fight, I have 'finished' the race, I have kept the faith." The word for this week might be too predictable. The word is 'FREEDOM'. One definition of 'freedom' is--the state of not being imprisoned or enslaved. One can't think of America and not associate freedom with it. In fact, there are some things that you can only find in America. Some of which are these-- 1.
