Monday's Ministry Morsel

Kindness--a small thing really that pays huge dividends! It is included in the fruit of the Spirit. (Galatians 5:22)

Question--Is it included in your daily activities, responsibilities, and interaction with others ?

Mentioned it Sunday at the close of service and reminding everyone in our prayer ministry team this month of the emphasis on this often overlooked fruit of the Spirit. Therefore on this first day of May I encourage everyone in the fellowship of First to demonstrate one random act of kindness every day this month toward someone you cross paths with. On a day where many are protesting many things, a little kindness is prescribed from our Father in heaven as demonstrated by His Son and directed by the Holy Spirit that indwells every believer.

If you miss a day--just look for a couple of opportunities the next to make it up. It doesn't have to break the bank--it only needs to be demonstrated in genuine love for one another!

There are guides available if you need them throughout the month in the foyer of the auditorium or in the office through the week.

Pick one up and in the process pick someone else up as well.

"And be kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you." Ephesians 4:32

That is the way Jesus lived and loved! It should not be ignored or overlooked by those who follow Him!

So brighten someone's day today and everyday this month by demonstrating a random act of kindness!

Hope and pray it continues long after May 31st! No good reason why it shouldn't!

May the Lord bless His work in each of you this week!
