Wednesday's Words

The word for this week is 'NOW'.

At first, the word might sound very demanding. For some, too demanding with all of the other things so many are pursuing that presses in on them. As you know, some things require immediate attention while others may be postponed for an hour or two, even a day or two. The key is to know and do what is important even when other things may seem more urgent.

The word of God says in James 4:14, "You do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is compared to a vapor (mist) that appears for a little while and then vanishes away."

The most important day you have is today. The most important moment you have is 'now'. The word of God reminds us that 'now' is the 'accepted' time and 'now' is the day of salvation. 2 Corinthians 6:2

Richard L. Evans is quoted as saying, "The tragedy of life is not that it ends so soon, but that we wait so long to begin it."

'Now' is a powerful term. 'Now' is an important word.

Have you answered life's most important question about Jesus providing salvation for you personally? If not, will you do that 'now'?

Have you forgiven those who have offended you? If not, will you do that 'now'?

Have you told everyone you need to tell; 'I love you'? If not, will you do that 'now'?

Have you left anything truly important undone? If so, will you do that 'now'?

'Now' is the accepted time.

In the wise words of retired pastor Keith Wiginton-- 'we must do these things while our hands are warm?'

Would you do those things 'now'; today? If not 'now', when?

In every way important, it's 'now' or never.

Don't let the demands of the devil's world system rob you of the blessing of 'now'!

May the Lord bless you and keep you!
